This range is all for the digestive system and covers a wide range of digestive disorders that the average digestive supplements only support but do not fix. Taking laxatives, antacids, fibers or digestive enzymes are very useful in assisting the colon but they all do something for the digestive system that it should be doing itself, which may lead to it not being able to digest on its own. Our formulas are pure herbal and don’t contain any nutraceuticals, fibers, enzymes, etc and also no binders fillers, anti caking agents, sugar, yeast, soy or any other allergens. These amazing formulas have been used by practitioners for about 13 years and are now being made available to the public.

Feel free to use two formulas together, just use one capsule of each, three times daily. They all work best when taken as a course because of the regenerative process. With the Chinese understanding of mixing formulas it is not just a matter of throwing some herbs together but rather a well thought out structure considering what herbs should be the main herbs, which are secondary, what needs to get it to the right area and what herbs need to strengthen or weaken the effect of other herbs. It is vitally important to put the right herbs in the right quantities in a formula to make sure it works properly.

Digestive disorders can be tricky to pinpoint, all we know is that we feel unwell. The trick is to learn to listen to your body and take the right supplements are needed. This way, serious digestive disorders and even cancer may be avoided.

Absorption problems

Absorption problems happen when either the colon is blocked and the walls are covered with a black, tar like substance, or from the glands in the stomach and digestive tract not producing enough acids and enzymes to break the food down small enough to be absorbed. It can also happen when one has too many parasites in the body that are eating nutrients meant for you. The walls of the intestines are where most of your absorption happens. If these walls are covered then it becomes very difficult to absorb anything. Common symptoms of malnutrition or not getting enough nutrients are headaches, hair loss, osteoporosis, and skin problems .

Remedy: Digest Energy and Paraherb

Bloating and feeling of fullness

There are three reasons why this might happen. •  Your colon is so full from food being put in but not coming out. •  Your digestive juices are not breaking the food down small enough so it just sits there and ferments, which causes enormous amounts of gas, making you feel bloated and uncomfortable. There is normally flatulence and some cramping with this. •  You are intolerant to something you are eating – probably wheat.

Remedy: Colon support for number one, Digest energy for number two or three

Cancer (any type)

Bad cells develop when the body is too toxic to regenerate itself. These toxins can be physical or emotional. The colon is the main method of getting rid of toxins, so if it doesn’t the body becomes saturated with toxins. Emotions can also become toxic in the body as they get stored in the cells as cellular memory. When we hold onto things like anger, resentment, guilt, or any other painful emotions, the body looks for somewhere to store them. Certain types of emotions get stored in certain parts of the body. E.g. the liver stores anger and resentment, the heart stores anything to do with love, lack thereof or difficulty of expressing it (hardness). Colon problems normally have something to do with struggling to let go of something. See emotional problems for more info. The physical always reflects the mental and emotional. When you get rid of the physical, the emotional can be released.

Colon cancer According to US statistics colon cancer is killing 400% more people than Aids and is 35% higher in men than in women. It is the third most common cancer world wide and is fast on the increase. This high statistic is due to our bad diet consisting mostly of wheat, red meat and processed foods and lacking in fibre and veggies. Constipation and the unwillingness to talk about it is another huge factor. Colorectal cancer is very common, usually occurring after the age of 50. Some of the main symptoms are polyps (little growths) in the colon. They are painless but can bleed, causing blood to be present in the stool. Simple tests to chemically detect small amounts of blood in the stool that are not visible to the eye can be easily performed in the home. Both polyps and colon cancer occur much more frequently in Western societies where the diets are low in fruits, vegetables, protein from vegetable sources and fiber. Smoking and drinking alcoholic beverages appear to increase the risk of polyp formation. Evidence suggests that diets high in calcium, folic acid and fiber act as preventive agents, reducing the risk of colorectal cancer. See www.risingstarlc.com/schulzecolon.htm for more info Esophageal cancer Esophageal cancer is more common in men than in women. The most common symptom is difficulty swallowing. People who regularly consume alcohol or smoke (or both) are at increased risk for the development of esophageal cancer. Untreated gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD) resulting in chronic irritation to the lower esophagus makes the cells more susceptible to cancer development.

Gastric Cancer Risk for gastric (stomach) cancer increases with age. Evidence suggests that high salt intake, a diet low in fresh fruits and vegetables, and infection with H. pylori bacteria are associated with an increased risk of gastric cancer; whereas diets high in whole grain cereals are associated with a reduced risk of this cancer. Early detection is often difficult because the symptoms are often vague. They include weakness, fatigue, decreased appetite, indigestion, abdominal pain and bloating. The detection of blood in the stool may indicate a gastric cancer, but can also be caused by many other things.

Remedy: Keep the colon clean with good food and Colon Support. If the colon is very sensitive or damaged use with IBS formula.

Candida

This is a fungus, which is naturally found in the colon but can easily get out of hand. It feeds on sugar and refined products and needs a cold, damp environment to survive. Symptoms include bloating, constipation, sugar cravings, thrush (vaginal, anal or oral rash with white sores), fungal finger or toe nails, extreme fatigue, headaches, sinus. The most important thing to do for Candida is to avoid all sugar and wheat products, even fruit for at least 6 weeks and eliminate the mucous in the intestines.

Remedy: Candida Support and Digest Energy

Constipation

If you are not having at least one, sometimes two bowel movements a day you are constipated. This happens when you eat foods that cannot be digested or your digestive system is too weak to digest it. Wheat, especially bread is terrible for the colon. It becomes glue like and sticks to the colon. Red meat is so tough that it cannot possibly be digested. The human stomach is not nearly acidic enough to really break it down. When something is not digested, the body keeps it in the system to try and break it down but this blocks all other food from coming through and the muscle movement of the colon stops to keep it there. Infections, neurological disorders, dehydration, lack of exercise, stress, depression, lack of dietary fiber and certain medications are also contributing factors. Most common signs of constipation include not having a movement at least once a day, bloating, a feeling of always being full and toxic, difficulty in passing stools and hard stools

Colitis

This is an inflammation of the colon and can be caused by a number of different factors. Mucous colitis, also called irritable or spastic colon, is a condition in which the colon secretes abnormally large amounts of mucus, which appears in the stools. The most common symptom is abdominal cramping accompanied by either constipation or diarrhea, sometimes alternately. Ulcerative colitis is another matter. Ulcerative colitis (UC) is a serious inflammatory bowel disease that seems to be autoimmune in nature. It affects the lining of the colon with inflammation and lesions. Symptoms include diarrhea (sometimes bloody), cramping, abdominal pain and sporadic fever.

Crohn’s disease (CD)

Chrone’s Disease is a type of inflammatory bowel disease that can affect both the small and large intestine. It involves patchy lesions that can be the entire thickness of the intestine. CD is a chronic condition that may recur at irregular intervals. The most common symptoms are abdominal pain and diarrhea along with general weakness, fever, loss of appetite and weight loss.

Diarrhea

Diarrhea has many causes. It is can be from inflammation, bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, food poisoning, chemical poisons, intestinal infection, food sensitivities, and anxiety.

Diverticulitis

Diverticulitis is when there is inflammation of one or more diverticula (small sac like protrusions on the lining of the colon. The primary cause is a lack of fiber in the diet. The characteristic signs and symptoms include pain with alternating constipation and diarrhea. Fever is often present.

Emotional problems

Emotions play a huge role in physical conditions of the body. The physical always reflects the mental and emotional. When you get rid of the physical problem, the emotional problems can be released. Emotions can become toxic in the body as they get stored in the cells as cellular memory. When we contain things like anger, resentment, guilt, or any other painful emotions, the body looks for somewhere to store them. Certain types of emotions get stored in certain parts of the body. Here are some common emotions associated with digestive problems:

  • Holding onto or not being willing to release something
  • Something that is eating away at you
  • Something you are refusing to absorb and take in
  • Appetite for life
  • Nourishing ourselves
  • Savoring life
  • Refusing to take in food and life itself – anorexia
  • Feeling empty inside – overeating to compensate for it.
  • Not wanting to absorb or take in experiences
  • Trying to reject an unpleasant experience
  • A desire to hurl painful experiences back in the direction they came from – vomiting
  • An urge to rush through and release unpleasant situations or emotions – diarrhea
  • Nervous excitement
  • Open sores or wounds (emotional) that don’t want to heal
  • Not feeling whole
  • Here are some common emotions associated with liver problems
  • Processing experiences
  • Anger and bitterness
  • Long term or intense resisting of emotions
  • Resentment
  • Too much focus on planning

Flatulence

This is from a lack of enzymes in the stomach. The food is not digested thoroughly and then just sits and ferments causing bloating an gas.

Remedy: Digest Energy

Gall bladder ailments

Gallstones are often a recurring problem and in the medical proffesion it inevitably results in the gall bladder getting removed. Gall stones can block the ducts of the gall bladder that lead into the intestine, and can affect gallbladder, liver or pancreatic function. Symptoms may not be present but when they are they include sharp right-sided pain up near the rib cage often with nausea and vomiting. The gall bladder secretes bile into the colon, which is a very bitter lubricating substance. This is a natural laxative. When the gall bladder is removed, the colon looses its natural laxative and often becomes sluggish. It goes hand in hand with the liver so it is important to keep the liver healthy to treat and prevent gall bladder problems.

Remedy: Hepatic Support

Gastroesophageal Reflux Disease (GERD)

This a disease characterized by reflux of gastric contents into the esophagus leading to localized infection. This relatively common and unpleasant problem is usually caused by problems to do with control of the esophageal sphincter. This can be due to a hiatus hernia or physical corrosion from components in the diet such as tobacco, alcohol, and acidic food. Relaxation of this sphincter muscle lets gastric juices flow back up into the lower end of the esophagus, causing heart burn.

Remedy: IBS formula

Heartburn

This should not be confused with indigestion. Heartburn is a burning feeling in the throat and results from the esophagus being irritated by stomach acid that is refluxed back into the esophagus. It usually occurs after meals or while lying down. It can also be caused by taking antacids long term so your body compensates by producing more acid. Stress, eating too much or too fast may also be a factor. It may also be a symptom of a hiatus hernia. Eating foods like pies, red meat or bread really aggravates it.

Remedy: IBS Formula

Hemorrhoids

Hemorrhoids are enlarged veins in the mucous membrane inside or outside of the rectum. Pain does not usually occur with internal hemorrhoids unless a complication such as a fissure also exists. External hemorrhoids can cause pain and itching, and may be accompanied by bleeding. Such bleeding must never be assumed to be due to hemorrhoids but rather correctly diagnosed. It is normally caused by a sluggish colon and the pressure associated with this.

Remedy: Colon support

Hiatus Hernia

This is a condition were the stomach protrudes through the diaphragm. It causes a pain just under where the ribs come together and is often associated with severe heartburn. This is very much aggravated by big meals as it literally traps a piece of the stomach, making the stomach smaller. Weak stomach muscles also play a role in causing it. In the medical proffesion it is often fixed by an operation but we believe that it can be fixed naturally. Make sure to eat small, regular meals (the size of your fist) and stay away from wheat, red meat and gas forming foods.

Remedy: Digest Energy –  will speed up digestion minimizing the occurrence of heartburn.

Indigestion

This is much more common than heartburn but is often called heartburn by people who don’t know the difference. Indigestion is a very uncomfortable feeling in the stomach where you don’t know if you want to vomit or go to the toilet. This happens when you have eaten too much and your digestive system doesn’t have enough acid to break the food down so the fermentation comes up your esophagus. It can also cause a pain that feels like its in the heart but is actually in the stomach / esophagus.

Remedy: Digest Energy

Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS)

People with this condition often experience alternating constipation and diarrhea with boating, gas and cramping. Two extreme varieties are seen with a whole spectrum of shades in between. The spastic colon type is characterized by an alternation between constipation and diarrhea associated with and often triggered by eating. The other extreme is a painless but persisting diarrhea. Mucous colitis is a condition associated with IBS where the colon secretes abnormally large amounts of mucus, which appears in the stools. People with this condition are normally highly stressed or the symptoms get worse when they are. This condition is very sensitive to wheat (especially bran) , red meat, sugar and coffee (because of is stimulating effect). Drugs, especially antibiotics, are also a major cause.

Remedy: IBS Formula

Irritability

This is directly related to a toxic liver. The liver rules most emotions and when it is blocked we cannot handle much and get irritable easily. When there is stagnation in the liver, the hormones are also affected, which doesn’t help.

Remedy: Hepatic support

Iron deficiency

Taking iron supplements can be very dangerous and half the time its not a deficiency that is the problem but rather that its not getting out of the liver and into the blood. Too much iron can lead to heavy metal poisoning. When there is not enough circulation through the liver, iron deficiency as well as menstrual problems are very common.

Remedy: Hepatic Support

Liver conditions

The range of liver problems is almost as large as the range of colon problems. Most of them involve there being too many toxins in the liver, (from fatty foods or alcohol) or from blood stagnation in the liver. Blood stagnation is when the blood does not flow through the liver properly like a stagnated pond. The liver plays a large role in the menstrual cycle. When there is stagnation the menstrual cycle is often dark, scanty and painful with conditions like endometriosis, fibroids or ovarian cysts.

Remedy: Hepatic Support

Nausea

This is the uncomfortable feeling one gets in the stomach before you vomit. It is a natural way for the body to get rid of toxins, which have been ingested like in the case of food poisoning or very rich food. Nausea during pregnancy is a different issue.

Remedy: Hepatic support

Peptic Ulcer Disease (PUD)

Peptic ulcer disease (PUD) is a breakdown of the lining of the stomach or the duodenum allowing the underlying tissue to be damaged by gastric acid. The bacteria Helicobactor pylori or use of the anti-inflammatory drugs have been shown to be involved in many cases. Symptoms are often temporarily relieved by food or antacids although in some people, eating may make the pain worsen. Gastric ulceration occurs along the lesser curvature of the stomach, whilst duodenal ulcers are found in the first few centimeters of the duodenum (small intestine). The pain is often described as burning, gnawing or aching, with soreness and an empty feeling or `hunger’.

Parasites

There are over 100 different types of parasites that live in the human body and they multiply at a very scary rate. One female can lay anything from 3000 to 200 000 eggs every day! These parasites range in size from microscopic organisms to 100 foot long worms. They eat you from the inside out, burrowing holes through your organs and cause major damage. They eat nutrients meant for you and sap you of your energy, making ou feel tired, weak and toxic. Symptoms of parasites may include constipation, bloating, weak immunity, viral or fungal infections, skin rashes, fatigue, depression, insomnia, anemia, dry skin and hair, mental dullness, anal itching, and much more including chronic illnesses and even cancer.

Remedy: Paraherb

Spastic colon

This is a condition where the colon is very sensitive and parts of the colon are restricted causing ballooning of the colon just before the restriction. There is often inflammation with a lot of pain. Symptoms include abdominal pain, diarrhea and sometimes alternating constipation, bloating and gas. It is very important to avoid wheat, red meat, dairy, coffee and sugar.

Remedy: IBS Formula Use with Digest Energy if there is constipation.

Toxin overload

When the colon cannot get rid of toxins the whole body becomes saturated with toxins. The liver, skin, kidneys – all the elimination organs take strain. If the system gets saturated with toxins symptoms like acne, weak immunity, skin problems, fatigue, sinus, headaches and bad body odor occur because the body cannot get rid of them fast enough. It is important to do a good detox with Colon Support and Hepatic Support at least twice a year even if you think your colon is healthy.

Remedy: Colon Support, Hepatic support and Paraherb

Weak immunity

People who are prone to bacterial, viral and fungal infections have a weak immune system. Thee are often sick and never seem to be completely well. They often have skin problems, dry or very oily hair, insmomnia, deppression and a general tired, fuzzy feeling in the brain. When your immunity is down it is easy for parasites and other organisms to take over, making it very difficult to recover.
